Key Re-starts Local Service Centre
Our service partner for most of West Yorkshire, Northern Traders Services, recently resigned. This initially seemed a major problem as the new repairs for the former United Co-Op business are mainly in that area. But within Key Electronics, we have a way of turning difficulties into business opportunities. After much consideration, we decided to re-open our own on-site service operation for the area.
We had already been carrying out repairs for Eurokeyton's massage chairs in the area for a long time. Other service partners have carried out on-site service of electronics products in our local area for several years too.
Run from our repair centre in Brighouse, the new operation started as a trial on last year. We have decided to make it permanent. It has also enabled us to offer employment to some United Co-op staff whose jobs were made redundant.
The new service covers all Halifax (HX), Huddersfield(HD) and Bradford(BD), and some areas of Leeds (LS), Harrogate (HG) and Sheffield (S). We have claim-back facilities with most manufacturers.
