Off-site Services Options
Our off-site services are operated from the Spennymoor Specialist Operations Centre and to a lesser extended by Three Counties Service Centre in Hereford. These service are ideal for smaller products such as portable television sets, DVD and VCR products. We offer swap-out, collect and repair or product replacement.
Swap-out Service
We hold a small stock of the product for this service. When our staff determine that the customer has a faulty product,
a replacement is sent out within one business day. Unmarked plastic transit boxes provide maximum security and protection.
The carrier will exchange the faulty product, returning the original item to the Spennymoor Specialist Operations Centre.
The faulty product is repaired, refubished to 'as new' condition, and held as swap-out stock.
Collect-Repair-Return Service
The product is collected from the customer, repaired and returned. If the customer is unable to package the product securely, we will send a plastic transit box with the carrier (at additional cost). No swap-out stock is needed for this service.
Product Replacement Service
This service is ideal for inexpensive products, typically under £20. Careful claim checking helps ensure that the service is not misused by customers as the faulty product is not collected.
